Opportunities for professional learning, sharing of ideas and networking

Join us in Toronto on Nov. 28-29 for this outstanding and informative 1.5-day workshop. As in previous years, this is a tremendous opportunity for homestay staff to build their knowledge and meet colleagues from other international education organizations. Here are some of the topics we will be addressing:

Registration costs just $595 plus tax. Your registration includes all of the conference sessions, coffee breaks, a networking reception on Thursday evening and Friday lunch. Each participant will receive copies of all of the presentations for future reference. This event is being held at the Downtown Toronto Marriott Eaton Centre Hotel. This excellent facility is located in the heart of the city, close to shopping, galleries and other attractions.

Conference FAQs

When should I register? As soon as possible! Early registrations allow us to plan an outstanding conference and get feedback from you about the agenda.   

When is the deadline to register? If there is space, we will take registrations up to one week before the conference. However, sometimes our workshops sell out! So we encourage you to register as soon as you know you can attend. 

If I have to cancel, can I get a refund? We don’t provide refunds but you can transfer the registration to a colleague, even up to the day of the workshop. 

How many people will attend? Typically, we have 15-40 attendees, depending on the location. 

Will the workshop definitely go ahead? We require a minimum of 10 attendees to make it financially viable and to ensure that everyone has an opportunity for networking and sharing ideas with colleagues. If we have to cancel the event for any reason, you will receive a full refund. 

Can you accommodate my special dietary needs? Yes. Please let us know when you register and we can inform the caterer of any special needs. We do require advance notice to make the appropriate arrangements.
